The Frost Giants of Jotunheim start a war on Midgard/Earth, begining at Tønsberg, Norway. The Asgardians hear of the attack and slowly grow an army and prepare for the battle that they will have in Midgard to help the Humans that inhabit it.

Battle of Jotunheim: The Frost Giants attempt to conquer Midgard/Earth. Their invasion point in Tønsberg, Norway becomes the site of an epic battle as Asgards ruler, Odin, leads an army to repel the invasion and protect the planet. Odin and his forces push the Frost Giants back to Jotunheim where the AllFather discovers an abandoned Frost Giant infant whom he adopts, names Loki and raises as his own alongside his son, Thor. A truce is negotiated between Odin and the Jotun king, Laufey.

At the Duetsches Opernhaus in Berlin, Johann Schmidt meets Adolf Hitler and Ernst Kaufmann after a Wagner opera. Schmidt reveals his theory that Asgardians could be more than a myth. Hitler is intrigued by Schmidt’s ideas, and Schmidt offers to conduct research in Kaufmann’s unit, but is rejected. Heinrich Himmler overhears the conversation and takes Schmidt under his wing.

At the Schutzstaffel’s Night of the Long Knives, Johann Schmidt kills Ernst Kaufmann and seizes control of his weapons program.

Schmidt and the SS troops attack an SA Weapons Testing Ground at Kummersdorf, and recruit Arnim Zola.

Due to rumors that Hitler would announce anti-Semitic laws, Abraham Erskine try’s to leave Germany with his family but is stopped at the German/Swiss border by Johann Schmidt, who wants the Super Soldier Serum. To ensure his cooperation, Schmidt sends Erskine’s wife and children to the Dachau concentration camp.
Arnim Zola continues his work on exo-skeleton battle suits and high-tech weaponry.

Erskine’s kidnapped wife, daughter, and son die of typhus in the Dachau concentration camp.

HYDRA tests a prototype tank and exo-skeleton battle suit. At the time it was believed the Luftwaffe was responsible for the destruction which was actually caused by HYDRA.

At Castle Kaufmann in the Bavarian Alps, Johann Schmidt takes part in a test with Abraham Erskine and his Super Soldier Serum which turns Schmidt into the Red Skull. Erskine is rescued by Peggy Carter, and brought into the SSR to produce America’s Super Soldier with Howard Stark in Project Rebirth.

America enters World War II. In Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, during an art class Rogers and Bucky find out that America has joined World War II. Over the next two weeks Bucky trains Rogers at Goldie’s Boxing Gym.

The SSR team in Red Hook, Brooklyn, finish the Project Rebirth Chamber. Howard Stark comments that it should be called the Brooklyn Project in response to Oppenheimer’s work at Los Alamos.

In Tønsberg, Norway, Schmidt discovers and takes the Tesseract, hidden within the monastery. Schmidt refers to it as “the jewel of Odin’s Treasure Room”.
1943 June 14th
On Flag Day, at the World Exposition of Tomorrow, Queens, New York, Erskine spots Steve Rogers at a recruitment office. Erskine offers him a chance to join the U.S. Army through Project Rebirth.
At camp Lehigh, New York, Rogers, along with several other volunteers, begins his training under the supervision of Peggy Carter, Dr. Erskine and Col. Phillips.
1943 June 22nd
With Erskine’s serum and Howard Stark’s Vita-Ray technology Rogers is transformed into the worlds first super soldier. Upon his transformation the secret location is destroyed, and Erskine is assassinated by Heinz Kruger, an operative of HYDRA. The only evidence that Project Rebirth took place is in Rogers’ genetic code.
1943 June 23rd
Unwilling to be kept for research, Rogers joins the USO and goes on a morale-boosting tour of the US, the UK, and troops stationed in Italy. Given the name ‘Captain America’ he becomes a national celebrity appearing in films and comic books, establishing himself as a symbol of America’s participation in the war.
1943 October 10th
At the HYDRA Weapons Facility in the Austrian Alps the Howling Commandos meet for the first time. As prisoners they are used to make weapons for HYDRA. They team up, at first, to get revenge on one of their captors after he viciously beats Bucky.
1943 November 3rd
Liberation of Allied prisoners of war: Frustrated by his lack of real action, and upon discovering that Bucky is trapped behind enemy lines, Rogers attacks a HYDRA facility in Austria and releases Timothy Dugan, Gabe Jones, Jim Morita, James Falsworth, Jacques Dernier, Bucky, and the rest of the 107th. Schmidt sets the facility to self destruct and escapes with the Tesseract. During his escape Rogers memorises a map of HYDRA facility locations and obtained a sample of the power source HYDRA was using.

Steve Rogers is appointed dead, but soon arrives with most of the soldiers he saved from the HYDRA facility.
Steve brings together some of the men he saved in the HYDRA base and creates the Howling Commandos.

Howard Stark examines a sample of HYDRA’s power which will help him with the theory of a new element.
1944 April 27th
Rogers invades a castle in the Nazi occupied Danish Straits controlled by HYDRA. Cap fights a Nazi wearing an arc reactor powered battle suit, and an arc powered tank. Schmidt attempts to destroy them by using a Viking Runestone, but Rogers slows the relic from exploding, allowing the Commandos to escape.

Rogers boards and captures the HYDRA submarine Leviathan.

After the Allied invasion of Normandy, Captain America infiltrates Castle Zemo and destroys the Sleeper.

The Howling Commandos board a HYDRA train and James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes is presumed dead.

Battle in the Valkyrie: Rogers, with the help of the US Military, attacks HYDRA’s last base. As Schmidt escapes in the Valkyrie, Rogers gains access and a fight ensues. Schmidt, after handling the Tesseract, is transported into Asgard. Rogers ditch’s the Valkyrie off the coast of Greenland so that the Valkyrie and its payload never reach the USA. Shortly after, the allied nations celebrate V. E. Day.
1945 July 7th
Howard Stark discovers the Tesseract in his search for Rogers but fails to locate the crashed Valkyrie. Rogers will remain missing for 66 years.

Natasha Romanoff is indirectly found and discovered as a treat to global security. Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. sent Agent Clint Barton to eliminate her and sent him out to Russia.

Barton arrives in Russia and confronts Natasha. When he was about to kill her, he decided to let her live and give her a chance to join S.H.I.E.L.D. She took the chance, and devoted the rest of her life to working for S.H.I.E.L.D.

Tony Stark goes to a New Years Eve party with Maya Hansen. They run into Aldrich Killian, a disabled scientist who runs A.I.M. and he tells them about his proposition to help disabled people and change the world with his work. Tony lies to him and tells him that he’ll meet him on the roof of the building. Maya tells Tony about a project she has worked on called Extremis. Tony and Maya spend the night together.

New Years Day comes and Tony still never comes to the roof with the distraught Aldrich Killian on the roof of the building. Looking out he saw everyone celebrating which inspired him to continue his work.
Tony breaks up with Maya Hensen leaving her a note about her project, Extremis.

2001 September 13th
After the 9/11 attacks, Thaddeus Ross convinces the military to revive the Bio Force Enhancement Project, based on Project Rebirth in World War II. Bruce Banner joins the group at Culver University at the insistence of his girlfriend Betty Ross. Thaddeus Ross lies to the scientists on the project, informing them that their work will help protect soldiers from depleted uranium.
2006 January 12th
Under the threat of funding cuts, Bruce Banner test’s the process on himself resulting in the accident that turns him into a powerful, mutated humanoid, or a “Hulk”. Gamma pulse combined with the serum that Betty Ross was developing triggers the mutation. Gamma pulses stored in Banner’s brain’s Amygdala and released during high stress moments trigger the mutation. Betty Ross is injured and hospitalized. Banner goes on the run. The military closes the lab building for a year and shuts down the Bio Tech Force Enhancement project. Gen. Ross holds onto some material, Betty Ross also secretly holds onto project data, and remains at Culver University. Betty stops speaking with her father, angry at his treatment of Banner.
2006 February 7th
Banner tries to contact Betty, but the email is intercepted by the military. She never receives it. Banner travels through the Dakotas, possibly on his way towards the Arctic.

Aldrich Killian finds possible canidates for his Extremis program, including Ellen Brandt, Chad Davis, Eric Savin, and Jack Taggert. All of which were in the United States Army and had a serious injury while they where in.
2007 Feb 19th
The soldiers are given Extremis. Some of them do not survive, and their bodies explode from a malfunction. Heal from their injuries and even regain limbs.

S.H.I.E.L.D. is brought in to help Ross. Stark Industries sells him Jeep-mounted sonic cannons. Banner eventually heads to South America. They continue helping Ross until 2012.

Tony Stark demonstrates his new Accelerated Wave Explosion (A.W.E.) weaponry to the U.S. Military at the Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona. Later that evening Stark and Lt. Col. James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes goes to a club. Stark’s arrogant, playboy attitude upsets another patron which results in a brawl.
2009 May 18th
Following the demonstration of the Jericho outside of Kabul, Afghanistan, the military convoy escorting Stark is attacked by the Ten Rings under the leadership of Raza, who is working for Obadiah Stane. Stark is wounded by Stark Industries-manufactured weapons and is captured. Stark is saved by Ho Yinsen, a fellow captive. They are forced to build a Jericho. They instead build an exo-skeleton battle suit powered by a miniature arc-reactor.
2009 August 18th
During their three months of capture, Stark and Yinsen finish the suit they have been working on. Tony turns it on and uses it to escape although Yinsen is killed by the Ten Rings while saving Tony. Following his being found by the US military, Stark is taken to Germany where he is checked out by Army doctors and then subjected to debriefings from the CIA, NSA and others.
2009 Aug 20th
Upon his return to the US and deeply affected by his experience, Stark pulls Stark Industries out of the weapons business, terminating all military contracts. Hammer Industries manoeuvres itself to pick up new contracts. Stark reveals to Stane the arc reactor technology he developed to power the armor. S.H.I.E.L.D Agent Phil Coulson attempts to order a meeting through Pepper Potts to debrief him.
2009 September 12th
Stark continues to develop a more refined version of the armor he used to escape from the Ten Rings. Stane uses Stark’s change of heart concerning what business he is in as leverage for a takeover attempt. Stane develops his own high tech battle armor using the remains of the Mark I armor recovered by members of the Ten Rings.
2009 October 18th
Nick Fury, in disguise, finds Bruce Banner in a bar and tries to find out what Thaddeus Ross’ “Super-Solder Program” did to him. Fury tells agents Johnson and Peterson, to gain his trust and see how he reacts to certain things, so the agents make it look like they where dating and one were cheating on the other with Bruce, and Bruce gets confused when she pulls him toward her. The other started a fight with Bruce. Fury tried to make it look like he was going to help him, but Peterson punched him. This made Bruce turn into the Hulk, and everyone in the bar including Fury, was surprised. Fury tried to calm Hulk down, but he ran through the wall of the bar.
2009 Oct 19th
After his Hulk incident, Banner heads to Rio de Janeiro to contact Samuel Sterns for help in developing a cure. They communicate using code-names of “Mr. Blue” and “Mr. Green.” Acting on a suggestion from Mr. Blue/Sterns, Banner starts to research Amazonia Tracheophytes for a lead on a cure. Banner also studies calming techniques at a nearby temple, gets a job at a soda bottling plant and teaches himself Portuguese.

Fury calls a meeting of S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives and tells them that Hulk is only a secondary matter.
Stark flies the Mark II armor using newly fitted flight stabilizers and discovers an icing problem.
2009 Oct 21st
Stark analyzes more data and decides to rebuild his suit using gold titanium from an old project to solve the icing problem. Tony also instructs J.A.R.V.I.S. to add some “hot-rod red” paint trimming to the next suit, code-named “Mark III.” Tony then leaves to attend the third annual benefit dinner for the Fire-fighters Family Fund while the new suit is being assembled and painted. At the charity event, Tony meets with Agent Coulson. who wants to learn about Tony’s incident, they book an appointment for the 24th. Tony leaves to dance with Pepper Potts, his personal assistant, and they share a moment together in the moonlight. Tony is then confronted by Christine Everhart, who he’d slept with prior to leaving for Afghanistan. She shows him photographs of his weapons being used by a terrorist group the previous day in the Afghan town of Gulmira, Yinsen’s home village. Tony confronts Obadiah, who reveals that he filed the injunction against Tony.

Under Stark’s direction, Potts uncovers proof of Stane’s collaboration with the Ten Rings.
Duel of Los Angeles: Stane and Stark eventually come to blows in their respective armors. Stane is killed. The conflict is seen by the public and the press name the mysterious hero “Iron Man.” After the fight against Iron Monger, Agent Coulson shows Stark and Rhodes around the S.H.I.E.L.D. complex situated in the local area. Coulson stresses to Stark how they can teach him how to fight.
2009 Oct 25th
At a press conference the day following his showdown with Stane, Stark rejects S.H.I.E.L.D.’s constructed alibi for the events of the previous evening and admits to the world that he is Iron Man. That evening, Nick Fury approaches Stark about the “Avengers Initiative". Stark declines, and Fury calls in Natasha Romanoff. Anton Vanko dies in poverty in Moscow. His son Ivan vows revenge on Stark, and builds his own portable Arc Reactor to power an energized whip/body harness.

Iron Man is named Time magazine’s Person of the Year, beating out Ben Bernanke, chairman of the Federal Reserve.
2010 January 10th
As Tony Stark continues to operate as Iron Man, he brings about a period of relative peace. His main target is the Ten Rings, who are based in Pavlodar, Kabul, and the Gulf of Aden. Tony Stark saves an airman in the Congo who was test piloting a vehicle designed by Justin Hammer under the orders of General Ross, and is credited as having stabilized East-West relations. Stark realizes that the palladium core of his Arc Reactor is slowly poisoning him. He begins searching for a cure but keeps his condition a secret.
2010 February 12th
In the autobahns of Germany, Tony Stark is on a buisness trip to make a partnership between Stark Industries and Gorani Insurance. He is stopped in the road by policemen, who tell him that 15 million dollars worth of paintings have been stolen from a museum and let him pass. After leaving, Tony finds a young woman who’s car has a flat tire. He fixes it and then she leaves. Tony then continues to drive, but discovers a car that matches the description of the car that the policemen described that had the paintings. Tony goes to the car and opens the trunk to find all the paintings inside. When all the criminals noticed him, they began to shoot at him. He ran to his car, to make them think he was running away, but actually, he was getting the glove of the Mark IV armor. He injured all the criminals with the glove. He managed to return the paintings to the museum, and got to the meeting where he saw the same woman who’s tire he repaired. She was Evetta Gorani, the next person in line to run Gorani Insurence. Her father, Michael Gorani (the current president of Gorani Insurance), told Tony that the company that owned the paintings Tony recovered where insured by Gorani Insurence, meaning Tony saved the company over one hundred million dollars. He then made a business partnership with Gorani Insurance.
2010 Feb 25th
158 days since his last “incident”, Banner has an accident that leaves a drop of his blood in a soda bottle. He sends a sample of his blood to Sterns, who conducts further experiments with it outside of the analysis that Banner needs.

The 2010 Stark World Exposition begins.

Stark appears before the Senate Armed Services Committee’s Weaponized Suit Defense Program Hearings. These are chaired by Pennsylvania Senator Stern. Stern pushes Stark to turn the Iron Man suit over to the military, but Stark refuses. Stern calls Justin Hammer, CEO of Hammer Industries and Lt. Rhodes to testify against Stark. Stark testifies that although North Korea and Iran are working to replicate the technology, they are years away from being able to do so. He also reveals that Hammer Industries had their share of lack-of-success, leading to the cancellation of Hammer Industries’ contacts with the Department of Defense.
2010 April 24th
Stark appoints Pepper Potts Chairman and CEO of Stark Industries. An agent of the Ten Rings supplies Vanko assistance in infiltrating the Grand Prix of Monaco.
2010 April 25th
General Ross’ task force, having traced Banner to the bottling plant, raids Rocinha under the field command of Emil Blonsky. Banner transforms, defeats the raiding party and escapes.
2010 April 26th
Jane Foster, working in Puente Antiguo for Culver University, discovers the subtle aurora in New Mexico. The atmospheric disturbances will continue to take place for the next sixteen days to the exact minute.

Banner wakes up in Guatemala and returns on his journey to Culver University. Over the next seventeen days, he goes to Willowdale, VA and Culver University to see if any data remains from his original experiment.

Stark signs paperwork to transfer power to Potts and meets “Natalie Rushman”, who was hired by Bambi Arbogast. Stark is unaware that she is a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Stark hires her as his new personal assistant.

Duel of Monaco: Stark arrives at the Circuit De Monaco and quips “What’s the point of having a car if you don’t drive it”. He replaces Team Stark’s regular driver DiFilipo in Race G. Ivan Vanko attacks Stark between turns 16 and 17 by the harbour. Switching into a portable, lightweight Iron Man armor (Mark V) Stark defeats Vanko.
Later that evening, Stark visits Vanko in prison before flying back to the US with Potts.

Media speculation continues about Tony Stark’s fitness to continue as Iron Man. Rhodes tries to convince Stark to hand over the Iron Man suits to the US military, but Stark continues to refuse.
2010 May 29th
On Tony Stark’s birthday he is depressed over his inability to solve his palladium poisoning dilemma and gets drunk which leads to a confrontation with Rhodes, who dons the Mark II Iron Man armor. The fight wrecks a portion of Stark’s Malibu home. Rhodes leaves with the Mark II suit.
2010 May 30th
Fury is informed that Stark has 72 hours left to live due to his palladium poisoning. Handed lithium to slow the effects of the condition, Fury leaves to meet Stark. Fury is told that Banner has passed through US Customs and orders S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Sitwell to track him. Agent Coulson informs Fury of ‘atmospheric disturbances’ in the ‘south west’ region.
Foster contacts Erik Selvig, who flies out to New Mexico to help her monitor the atmospheric disturbances. Foster’s message is intercepted by S.H.I.E.L.D.
Rhodes delivers’s the Mark II suit to the military at Edwards Air Force Base. Stark goes for donuts and has a conversation with Fury. Fury mentions a situation in the southwest, but confines Stark to house arrest. At Hammer Industries, Vanko revamps the battle suits in to unmanned, remote-controlled drones.
Mark II suit is turned over to Justin Hammer for weapons upgrading on the order of General Meade, though not before Rhodes secretly removes the suit’s Arc Reactor.
Tony visits Potts at Stark Industries where she mentions Hammers presentation at the Expo is tomorrow, makes intuitive breakthrough on how to fix his palladium problem; through the creation of a new element theorized by his father and hidden in the layout of Stark Expo.
2010 May 31st
In Asgard Thor’s coronation is suddenly cut short when Odin senses a break-in in his treasure room. The culprits are discovered to be Frost Giants whom the Destroyer, as guardian, has killed. Thor is enraged at what he sees as, an act of war.
Nick Fury reassigns Agent Coulson from Tony Stark to investigate atmospheric activity in New Mexico. Coulson leaves that afternoon.
Stark builds a small cyclotron to create the element using equipment owned by Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S.
Battle at Stark Expo: Hammer’s Stark Expo presentation is hijacked by Vanko, who uses the drones to attack the crowd and Stark. After receiving a call from Vanko, Stark skips over tests on new a Arc Reactor element in order to stop Vanko. Stark defeats Vanko’s drones with help from Rhodes in the modified Mark II armor, S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Romanoff and Happy Hogan. Vanko is killed in the explosion that destroys the Oracle Pavilion. Hammer is arrested for engineering Vanko’s escape. Stark also manages to fly to Pepper and save her from another explosion. Afterwards, he and Pepper kiss and they grow a bigger relationship. Rhodes witnesses the whole thing, saying they look like two seals fighting over a grape.
Coulson arrives at a S.H.I.E.L.D. outpost in Roswell, NM to assemble his team of agents.
Before leaving Hammer Industries, Agent Romanoff downloads all the information stored on Hammer’s mainframe and destroys the facility.
On his way to Puente Antiguo (on his way from Roswell, NM) Coulson prevents an armed robbery taking place at a gas station, and also purchases some donuts.
Thor, Sif, Loki and the Warriors Three travel to Jotunheim to seek justice for the Frost Giants actions. A fight breaks out.
Banner goes to his old friend and pizzeria owner Stanley to hide out. He offers him the Pizza Shop’s upstairs spare bedroom.
Foster, Selvig, and Darcy detect a possible Einstein-Rosen Bridge in the nearby desert and discover Thor, stripped of his powers and cast out of Asgard by Odin for provoking a war with the Frost Giants of Jotunheim. Thor, after provoking Darcy with his behavior, is tasered and taken to a local hospital.
2010 June 1st
Under orders from Fury, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Clint Barton is sent to Puente Antiguo, NM to assist Coulson.
A Puente Antiguo, New Mexico local discovers Thor’s hammer, Mjølnir, in a crater about 50 miles east of the town. Unable to lift it, he calls several other people to give it a try. Jane helps Thor escape from the hospital where he is being held and takes him back to her workplace.
Coulson arrives in New Mexico and discovers the site of Mjølnir. S.H.I.E.L.D. quickly quarantines the area and erects a portable laboratory over the site to study the hammer. Barton is one of the agents assigned to the operation and arrives later that day.
Loki discovers his true heritage, that Laufey the Frost Giant King is his real father. After confessing the truth to Loki, Odin collapses and enters Odinsleep. Sif and the Warriors Three begin to suspect Loki’s treachery.
That evening Thor and Foster head towards the site of the S.H.I.E.L.D. installation erected around Mjølnir. Thor is captured trying to sneak in having failed to lift Mjølnir.
Loki appears before Thor who is being held at the S.H.I.E.L.D. installation and lies to him that Odin is dead. In the evening, Dr. Selvig goes to the installation and manages to get Coulson to release Thor into his custody.
Bruce Banner poses as a pizza delivery man to get access to Culver University’s computer labs and research database. He decides to leave that evening but as he prepares to leave Stanley’s he is accidentally seen by Betty. She has him stay the night at the home she shares with Leonard Samson. Samson informs the military of Banner’s whereabouts. Blonsky receives an unauthorized “low dose” injection of Bio Tech Enhancement Serum from General Ross.
Fury sends Romanoff to tail Banner aware that an imminent move by General Ross is to be made. She goes to Culver University.
After an evening of drinking with Selvig, Thor explains the concept of the Nine Worlds to Jane.
2010 June 2nd
The Warriors Three and Sif head to Midgard to find Thor. Loki sends the Destroyer after them.
Tony Stark ends the 2010 Stark Expo.
Battle at Culver University: At Culver University, Betty walks Banner to the bus station in the early morning. As they are crossing the campus, they are attacked by the military and Blonsky, who seems to adapt well to the Bio Tech Enhancement upgrade, but is still beaten by transformed Banner, getting nearly every bone in his body pulverized. Banners transformation and Blonsky’s enhanced performance are witnessed by Romanoff. Banner/Hulk escapes the military with an unconscious Betty to a cave deep in the Smoky Mountains. News of the battle quickly spreads across cable news channels and the internet. Culver University journalism newspaper reporter Jack McGee, who witnessed and captured the fight on cell phone video, names the transformed Banner “the Hulk” in an interview with WHIH news. His remarks are played repeatedly over the next several days.
S.H.I.E.L.D. continues to monitor the Hulk incident, the crater site in New Mexico as well as Europe, Africa, and the Atlantic Ocean.
Tony Stark has a debrief with S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury. Stark is offered an advisory position as a consultant for S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers Initiative. He accepts the offer on condition that Senator Stern honors them for their services, which he did three hours later.
Romanoff informs Fury about Blonsky’s enhanced attributes having witnessed his performance at the Culver University incident.
The Destroyer attacks S.H.I.E.L.D. agents stationed at Puente Antiguo.
Battle of Puente Antiguo: Thor and his fellow Asgardians fight the Destroyer. During the battle, Thor proves himself worthy of his godly heritage and his powers are restored, allowing him to defeat the Destroyer.
Clint Barton discovers the Destroyer’s inanimate body in Puente Antiguo. Later that day, with the help of Coulson, they transport the body to Roswell, NM.
Banner and Betty hide out in a small town motel, as news of the previous day’s battle continues to spread. Within 36 to 40 hours of his injuries, Blonsky has recovered.
Thor, Sif and the Warriors Three head back to Asgard where Thor reveals Loki’s plan to seize the throne of Asgard. Unfortunately, in the ensuing battle between the two, Thor is forced to destroy the Bifrost to prevent Loki from destroying Jotunheim and committing genocide against the Frost Giants. This action strands him in Asgard, unable to return to Midgard/Earth. Loki falls into space disappearing into the ether.

2010 June 4th
Banner and Betty arrive in NYC, bypassing roadblocks at the Holland Tunnel by bribing a boat owner to take them across the Hudson River, leaving them in lower Manhattan. They head uptown to meet with Sterns. Sterns and Banner try an experimental process to cure him, though it only succeeds in reversing the transformation, not ridding Banner of it completely.
Duel of Harlem: The military captures Banner, but Blonsky forces Sterns to inject him with the blood products that Sterns developed from Banner’s blood sample. Blonsky is driven insane and mutates into the Abomination. Sterns is infected with Banner’s blood through an open wound, possibly gaining his own mutation. Banner convinces Ross to let him try and stop Blonsky. The two fight in Harlem, with the Hulk finally defeating Blonsky/Abomination, before being allowed by Ross to flee.
Among the rubble that makes up the remains of Sterns’ apartment Romanoff discovers the mutated Sterns, she subdues him and takes him into custody.
2010 June 5th
Nick Fury is granted new funds for S.H.I.E.L.D. from the World Security Council. This new funding will provide the resources he needs to examine the Tesseract fully as well as to put into action the ‘Avengers Initiative’.
2010 June 7th
Fury approaches Erik Selvig to join S.H.I.E.L.D. in an advisory capacity to study a powerful cube-like object in their possession. Fury is unaware that Selvig is under the control of Loki.
2010 June 8th
In a diner Agent Coulson and Jasper Sitwell discuss how to prevent Blonsky being assigned to the Avengers Initiative. The World Security Council have ordered S.H.I.E.L.D. to make Blonsky part of the team as they consider him a war hero. Coulson agrees to send Tony Stark to meet with Ross within twenty four hours to ruin any chance of this recruitment going through.
2010 June 9th
Following the NYC Hulk incident, Tony Stark arrives in NYC and approaches Ross about “putting a team together.” Stark is apparently on a mission to recruit Blonsky. However, Ross is enraged by Stark’s behavior and refuses to release him into S.H.I.E.L.D. custody.

James Rhodes fights more of the Ten Rings’ allies in Northern Sudan.
Rhodes quickly travels to the Bagram Airfield to discover more about the Ten Rings. He calls Tony Stark, who was once captured by the Ten Rings. While Tony talks to Rhodes, he also helps construct Stark Tower.
2011 April 14th
Steve Rogers’ crash site is found by a Russian oil team. Eighteen hours later S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are dispatched to the area where they find the frozen Rogers Cryogenically preserved.
2011 April 15th
S.H.I.E.L.D. continues their work. Analysis continues on Vanko’s Whiplash/Hammer Technology, on Foster’s Nine Realms Theory, on Sterns mutation and, finally, on transforming The Destroyer into a handheld weapon. Hawkeye is sent to join Selvig deep in the Mojave desert to assist with the work carried out on the Tesseract.

Steve Rogers wakes up and tries to run away from a S.H.I.E.L.D. building but is stopped by Nick Fury. Fury tells him what he missed while he was frozen.
2011 May 1st
Destruction of Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S.: Loki activates the Tesseract having been aided by an entity known as ‘The Other’. The Tesseract teleports Loki into the Mojave Desert, where S.H.I.E.L.D. has a Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. headquarters. He steals the Tesseract and, using a scepter-like device, gains control over S.H.I.E.L.D. agents including Barton and Selvig. As they escape the base is destroyed, starting the War for Earth. Fury reactivates the Avengers Initiative.
Natasha Romanoff is extracting information from Georgi Luchkov while letting him believe he is interrogating her. Phil Coulson calls one of Luchkov’s henchmen and tells him to give Natasha the phone or S.H.I.E.L.D. would destroy the entire city block. Coulson tells her she is needed but is reluctant to leave her current job, but agrees when she is informed that Clint Barton has been compromised.
2011 May 2nd
Kolkata, India. Natasha Romanoff meets Bruce Banner under the orders of Fury. She convinces Banner that his knowledge on Gamma Radiation is essential in helping S.H.I.E.L.D. locate the Tesseract. Banner accepts.12
In Manhattan, NY Steve Rogers looks through some S.H.I.E.L.D. files given to him by Nick Fury in Rogers’ new apartment. He finds one having a report on Peggy Carter, saying her current phone number. He prepares to call her, but eventually decides against it. He then leaves his apartment and goes to a boxing gym.3 Fury meets with Rogers at the gym, telling him that the Tesseract had been stolen by Loki. He tells him to report to the Helicarrier in the morning.
That evening, Stark brings his miniaturized Arc Reactor online to power the newly opened Stark Tower in midtown Manhattan, built on the location of the former Pan Am building. Agent Coulson calls on Stark to review Selvig’s research on the Tesseract. Stark is also sent highly confidential material concerning the potential members of ‘The Avengers Initiative’.
2011 May 3rd
Romanoff, Banner, Rogers and Coulson all rendezvous on the Helicarrier. Banner sets to work in relocating the Tesseract. After intelligence reveals Loki’s location, in Germany, Rogers and Romanoff make there way there to confront him. Stark arrives to help capture him. On their return Thor attempts to capture and return Loki back to Asgard. After a fight he is persuaded not to so that they can find the Tesseract together.
2011 May 4th
Attack on the Helicarrier: Once aboard the Helicarrier the Avengers begin to clash verbally over how to handle Loki and the Tesseract, allowing Loki time to plot an escape. Clint Barton and other brainwashed Agents invade the Helicarrier and begin to destroy the engines while Bruce Banner transforms into the Hulk and begins to rampage across the ship. Tony Stark and Steve Rogers attempt to repair the engines, Thor battles the Hulk, Natasha Romanoff frees Agent Barton of his mind-control while Nick Fury and Maria Hill hold off the other mind-controlled agents. The Hulk jumps out of the ship to attack a hovering F-35 Lightning II and ends up crashing into the ground below. Thor arrives to stop Loki but gets trapped in a cage designed to contain the Hulk and is jettisoned out of the ship, Agent Coulson arrives with a gun made out of The Destroyer to help but gets killed by Loki.
2011 May 5th, Battle of New York: Following Loki’s escape from the Helicarrier he commanders Stark Tower to be used as the location of the Chitauri invasion. Tony Stark arrives to “Threaten” Loki while a mind-controlled Selvig uses the Tesseract to open a portal allowing the Chitauri to invade Earth. The Avengers come together to stop the invasion, however the World Security Council are not convinced it will work and launch missiles at the city despite Nick Fury’s persistence. While the Avengers battle the invading forces Iron Man grabs one of the missiles and throws it through the portal destroying the Chitauri fleet just as Black Widow closes the portal. They apprehend Loki and reclaim the Tesseract. The Avengers have won and ended the War for Earth.
During the Battle of New York, James Rhodes (War Machine) travels to Hong Kong and discovers more of the Ten Rings’ allies and stops them. He gets a call from Tony Stark, who says he needs help in the battle. Rhodes is soon attacked by a tank using tech mainly from Hammer Industries, he is warned by a commanding officer that the tanks core is a miniature nuclear bomb. Rhodes is then knocked out by a missile from the tank. When he wakes, he manages to partially trap the tank, but it is still able to shoot at him, even though it can’t go mobile. Rhodes asks for backup, but much of the army’s men are fighting in the Battle of New York. Rhodes gets hit wit another one of the tank’s missiles. Rhodes decides to use a miniaturized Stark Sonic Cannon to stun the attackers. When he finishes, he gets hit with another one of the tank’s missiles. After getting run over by the tank, Rhodey picked up the tank and threw it in the ocean where it exploded. Rhodes quickly tried to fly to New York to help with the battle.
The Avengers, tired from their recent battle, gather at a local shawarma restaurant that was recommended by Tony Stark, to eat. War Machine arrives to help in the battle while they eat, coming to late.
Thor returns to Asgard with Loki and the Tesseract while the other Avengers go their separate ways.
The Other confers with his master over Loki’s defeat, the loss of the Tesseract, and Earths new protectors then states that to confront them “would be to court death”. His master, Thanos, simply turns and smiles, thinking of things to come.
Tony Stark begins making the Iron Legion.
